About the Event
Gasshuku is the yearly international training camp of the International Gyokushin Ryu Aikido Federation. This year Gasshuku will be hosted by the United States Gyokushin Ryo Aikido Federation from July 13-16, 2023 in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. Grandmaster Washizu, Norio sensei, and Kinzo sensei will be attending from Japan to instruct. There will be approximately 16 hours of training time over four days!

- Thursday 10 am - 12 pm, 2 pm - 4pm
- Friday 10 am - 12 pm, 2 pm - 4pm
- Saturday 9:30 am - 11:30 pm, 2 pm - 4pm, Kids Session: 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
- Sunday 9:30 am - 11:30 pm, 2 pm - 4pm, Kids Session: 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
Kids Session is ticketed seperately through Rocket City Martial Arts. All USGRAF instructors are welcome to participate.

DINNERS: We are also planning a welcome gathering at the hotel on the Wednesday evening before Gasshuku, and a dinner at the Convention Center on Saturday. More information on this will be released closer to the event.
Huntsville is home to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and the Redstone Arsenal, where Colonel Demizu first started teaching Yoseikan Aikido in the United States.
